NDA Leaders Criticize Akhilesh Yadav, Claiming He Has Already Accepted Defeat

New Delhi, August 19: Akhilesh Yadav, the president of the Samajwadi Party, has presented a potential seat allocation for NDA allies ahead of the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections. This statement has drawn sharp criticism from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and its allies. NDA leaders assert that Yadav has already conceded defeat before the elections, which is why he is making such claims.

Uttar Pradesh government minister Sanjay Nishad reacted strongly to Yadav’s comments. He referenced Lord Ram and Nishadraj, stating that just as Lord Ram embraced Nishadraj and vanquished Ravana, Prime Minister Modi and Chief Minister Yogi have honored the Nishad community. Nishad remarked that if those who were with Yadav had managed things better, the situation would have been different. He emphasized that everyone knows the distribution during Yadav’s tenure and that he was part of that era.

BJP MP Geeta Shakya pointed out that Yadav seems to have forgotten that it is the Bharatiya Janata Party he is addressing. She noted that many leaders within the BJP have built their identities through grassroots struggles. The NDA’s allied parties and BJP’s top leadership work collaboratively. In this alliance, all leaders are respected, their voices are heard, and significant decisions are made after collective discussions.

Shakya questioned Yadav’s authority to claim that NDA members are fearful. She advised him to focus on his party and constituents rather than worrying about the NDA. She asserted that the NDA and BJP are fully capable and are preparing robustly for the upcoming Assembly elections.

BJP leader Ram Kadam also targeted Yadav regarding the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections. He claimed that Yadav has already acknowledged that he will lose again this time. Kadam stated that the public has decided to re-elect the BJP-NDA government, which is why Yadav’s statements are not being taken seriously. He accused Yadav of indicating that he has accepted defeat even before the elections.
