Lucknow, May 30: Akhilesh Yadav, the national president of the Samajwadi Party, has launched a sharp attack on the BJP government in the state, listing a series of allegations against it. He highlighted issues related to law and order, bulldozer actions, reservations, and the treatment of various groups including journalists, lawyers, education workers, and farmers, labeling the government as anti-people.
In a pointed remark, he stated, “Those who mislead the public while wearing black glasses are now on their way out, and they won’t return.” Yadav claimed that the people of the state are ready for change and will respond to the BJP in the upcoming elections.
Using the social media platform X, Yadav expressed his thoughts through a poem, stating, “Those who come wearing black glasses, who remove their true cases, and who impose false charges, will be defeated even by a Ravana in their arrogance. They neglect the greeting of ‘Namaste’, demolish homes and shops with bulldozers, torment people for electricity and water, hurl abuses at journalists, and implement policies that do not benefit anyone.”
He continued his critique in verse, mentioning, “Those who destroy the Manikarnika Ghat, shower favors on their allies, spread communal poison, commit atrocities on PDA, cut reservations, and collect donations from teachers, govern on false promises, and merely delay everyone’s demands.”
Concluding his poem, Yadav wrote, “Now they are leaving, never to return.” He indicated that the public will decide on a change in power in the upcoming elections. This statement from the Samajwadi Party leader comes at a time when political activities are intensifying in the state, with various parties strategizing for the elections.
