
Daund, September 16 (Daily Kiran) : The Yavat Police Station has taken decisive action against Dutta Ashok Shinde, a 29-year-old resident of Rahu in Daund, Pune district. Shinde, known for his extensive criminal background, has been banned from the area for two years due to his involvement in 19 serious criminal cases, which have instilled fear in the local community.
In an effort to maintain law and order, the Yavat Police presented a proposal for Shinde’s district ban under Section 56(1)(B) of the Maharashtra Police Act to the Sub-Divisional Officer of Daund. Following approval, Shinde has been expelled from Pune district, including Pune city and the Pimpri-Chinchwad area, as well as the boundaries of Karjat and Shirgaon in the Ahilyanagar district.
This action was carried out under the guidance of Superintendent of Police Sandeep Singh Gill, Additional Superintendent of Police Ganesh Biradar, and Sub-Divisional Police Officer Bapurao Dadse, led by Inspector Santosh Tasgaonkar and his team at the Yavat Police Station.
