Mumbai, April 27: Xiaomi has launched the Mijia 10kg ultra-slim washer dryer on its Youpin platform. Priced at 1,999 yuan ($292), it is currently available for an introductory price of 1,599 yuan ($234).

This washer dryer boasts a slim profile with a depth of just 540mm. Designed to integrate seamlessly into modern interiors, it features a minimalist body and a 15mm installation gap that helps reduce dust accumulation. The appliance operates with a rotary knob control system and a flat panel interface for intuitive use.
Equipped with a spacious 525mm drum, the washer dryer allows fabrics to move freely during the wash cycle, minimizing wrinkles and enhancing fabric stretching. It has a wash ratio of 1.25, surpassing standard efficiency benchmarks. The machine employs a 3D water flow system that pre-mixes detergent, penetrates fabrics deeply, and enhances rinsing to minimize residue.
With 26 washing and drying programs tailored for various fabrics, it can handle delicate materials like silk and wool, as well as sturdier items like down jackets and outdoor wear. An intelligent wash mode adjusts water levels, time, and energy consumption based on the load.
The washer dryer features a high-airflow drying system for quick moisture removal while safeguarding delicate fabrics. It includes a smart drying mode to prevent energy waste and material damage, steam sterilization that eliminates 99.999% of bacteria and viruses, a high-temperature drum cleaning system for hygiene, and a nano antibacterial door seal to resist mold and bacteria buildup.
Additionally, the washer dryer connects to HyperOS Connect, allowing for remote control, wash progress monitoring, and scheduling via the Mijia app and XiaoAI voice commands. A seven-layer noise reduction system ensures quieter operation.
