Mumbai, March 20: Xiaomi has launched a vibrant purple color option for its Mijia Colorful Suitcase. This new variant is currently available for crowdfunding on the Youpin platform. The 20-inch model is priced at 199 yuan ($28), while the larger 24-inch version costs 299 yuan ($43). Shipping for the new color is set to begin on March 26.

The Mijia Colorful Suitcase boasts a lightweight and durable polypropylene (PP) shell, featuring an anti-scratch textured finish that enhances protection against daily wear and travel impacts.
Its interior is lined with polyester fiber and includes an antibacterial coating to inhibit bacterial growth. The internal layout consists of a U-shaped zippered compartment and X-shaped securing straps, ensuring organized and efficient storage.
The 20-inch suitcase measures 355 x 235 x 510 mm (shell) and 375 x 235 x 570 mm (overall), weighs 2.7 kg, and has a capacity of 40 liters. The 24-inch model measures 430 x 275 x 615 mm (shell) and 445 x 275 x 670 mm (overall), weighs 3.4 kg, and offers 67 liters of storage.
Equipped with large-diameter spinner wheels, the suitcase ensures improved stability, reduced noise, and smooth movement across various surfaces. It also features a TSA-approved lock for enhanced travel security and a rust-resistant, four-stage adjustable aluminum alloy telescopic handle for effortless operation.
Additionally, the suitcase includes reinforced side feet for abrasion resistance and a TPU handle for comfortable lifting. The new purple variant joins a range of existing colors, including black, blue, white, pink, and green.
