Mumbai, March 15: Xiaomi has officially launched the Mijia Wireless Floor Scrubber 5 Max on its Xiaomi Youpin platform. Priced at 3,599 yuan (approximately $520), this innovative device boasts advanced cleaning technology, featuring a 160°C direct steam spray system and an impressive 28,000Pa suction power.
The Mijia Floor Scrubber 5 Max employs a triple cleaning system that integrates steam, foam, and hot water. This combination effectively tackles stubborn dirt, grease, and sticky messes on hard floors. The device’s 160°C direct steam capability dissolves grime, eradicates tough stains, and sterilizes surfaces. A robust 300W boiler system ensures rapid steam generation, allowing users to commence cleaning without lengthy wait times.
Additionally, the floor scrubber releases dense foam to break down oily stains and utilizes a 90°C hot water feature to soften sugar-based residues, such as juice or syrup. Xiaomi’s multi-stage cleaning process is designed to efficiently handle various types of messes.
Equipped with a powerful 28,000Pa suction motor and a maximum input of 168AW, the scrubber features a roller brush suitable for both wet and dry debris. It also includes a PPA shark-tooth comb scraper with a four-layer anti-tangle system to prevent hair clogs.
Xiaomi has integrated edge-cleaning technology, utilizing an arm and infrared sensors to clean near walls, furniture legs, and cabinet edges. The scrubber can access gaps as narrow as 11mm, making it effective for reaching hard-to-clean areas.
The device also features a self-cleaning system that employs 100°C boiling water to sanitize the roller brush and flush the wastewater pipe. After cleaning, the roller undergoes hot air drying to prevent mold and odors.
Powered by a 6,300mAh battery, the Mijia Wireless Floor Scrubber 5 Max offers up to 70 minutes of runtime. It can effectively clean homes up to 420 square meters on a single charge. The scrubber includes a 1000mL clean water tank and a 700mL dirty water tank for extended cleaning sessions.
Furthermore, the floor scrubber integrates with HyperOS Connect and the Mijia app, enabling users to control cleaning modes, monitor battery life, and adjust power assistance. An LCD color display provides information on modes, alerts, and battery status.
