Xiaomi Unveils Its First Laptop in Three Years: The Xiaomi Book Pro 14

Mumbai, March 12: Xiaomi has begun teasing its latest laptop, the Xiaomi Book Pro 14, set to launch in China. This marks the first Xiaomi-branded laptop release in three years, following the Xiaomi Book 14’s debut in 2023.

Teaser images reveal that the laptop will be available in three colors: Soft Fog Blue, White, and Elegant Gray. The design features a sleek and slim metallic finish.

The Book Pro 14 boasts a unibody die-cast magnesium alloy body, complemented by a high-strength carbon fiber bottom shell. Xiaomi has upgraded the keyboard support plate to a lighter titanium alloy structure, contributing to its impressively low weight of just 1.08 kg.

In terms of performance, Xiaomi has confirmed that the laptop will be powered by the latest Intel Core Ultra X7 358H processor. To ensure efficient cooling, the company has incorporated a large 10,000 mm² vapor chamber cooling module, a high-speed silent fan, and a three-dimensional airflow system. This setup allows the laptop to maintain performance levels of up to 50W.

What else can you expect?

A previous report has revealed additional details about the device. The Xiaomi Book Pro 14 will feature a 14-inch display and weigh approximately one kilogram. It will also be available with the slightly less powerful Intel Core Ultra 5 325 processor alongside the Core Ultra X7 chip.

The Ultra 5 325 is built on Intel’s 18A process, featuring an 8-core layout in a 4P + 4LPE configuration. It operates with 8 threads and can achieve boost speeds of up to 4.5 GHz.

On the other hand, the Ultra X7 358H has a 16-core structure arranged in a 4 + 8 + 4 configuration. This chip can reach speeds of up to 4.8 GHz, includes 18MB of L3 cache, and integrates Intel’s Radiant B390 graphics.

Memory options may include configurations with 24GB of RAM and 1TB of storage, as well as another option with 32GB of RAM paired with the same 1TB SSD.
