Indore, May 19: Following a ruling by the Madhya Pradesh High Court, Bhojshala in Indore hosted its first Havan-Pooja and Maha Aarti on Tuesday.
Vishwas Pandey, the patron of the Bhoj Utsav Committee, spoke to reporters, stating that the weekly Satyagraha and rituals have restored the right for devotees to worship Maa Vagdeviji throughout the year.
Pandey expressed, “We used to come here every Tuesday, hoping for the completion of our Satyagraha. Bhojshala felt restricted, as we only had the right to worship once a week. Our demand was for the right to worship 365 days a year. Now, we have achieved that.”
He also mentioned receiving good news from Delhi regarding preparations to bring the idol of Maa Vagdeviji from London. “We are excited about her soon returning to her rightful place. Our Satyagraha will be complete on that day,” he added.
Devotee Gayatri Purohit welcomed the High Court’s decision regarding Bhojshala. “This celebration belongs to every Sanatani. Everyone is thrilled about it. We have prayed for Maa Vagdeviji’s blessings, and she has always given us strength to fight every struggle. Now, we seek her compassion and presence here,” she stated.
Purohit emphasized her participation in the Satyagraha on behalf of all the youth in the country. “I believe many young people couldn’t come here due to distance. We have all paid our respects to Maa Vagdeviji from our hearts. The idol will surely arrive from London, and soon she will be enshrined in this temple,” she concluded.
