Greater Noida, April 5: A shocking robbery incident in a prominent housing society in Greater Noida West has raised serious concerns about security measures. A cunning woman disguised as a maid entered the Amrapali Kingswood Golf Homes Society, where she incapacitated an elderly woman with a narcotic substance and made off with valuables.
According to reports, the victim’s family had been searching for a maid for the past few days. During this time, an unknown woman arrived at their flat, claiming she was sent by the daughter-in-law for work. As soon as the elderly woman opened the door, the suspect sprayed a narcotic substance on her face, rendering her unconscious. At the time of the incident, the elderly woman was alone at home with her six-month-old granddaughter.
Taking advantage of the situation, the accused quickly stole valuable items, including a gold mangalsutra and cash, before fleeing the scene. It was about an hour later that the elderly woman regained consciousness and informed her family and neighbors about the incident. The police arrived promptly and initiated an investigation.
