PM Modi Wishes Chhattisgarh on Statehood Day, Highlights Progress Against Naxalism
Prime Minister Modi congratulated Chhattisgarh on Statehood Day, emphasizing the states progress in combating Naxalism and fostering development.
New Delhi, November 1 (Daily Kiran) : Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended his warm wishes to the residents of Chhattisgarh on the occasion of the state’s foundation day. He expressed joy over the state’s progress in overcoming Naxalism and moving forward on the path of development. Modi hoped that this special day would be beneficial for all the people of Chhattisgarh.
In a post on social media platform X, Modi wrote, “Many congratulations to all the residents of Chhattisgarh on the state’s foundation day. This region is renowned for its tribal culture, natural wealth, and unique folk traditions. The archaeological heritage of the state has contributed to its distinct identity, creating a warm environment that attracts everyone.”
He further stated, “It is heartening to see our state advancing rapidly on the path of development while eradicating the roots of Naxalism. I am confident that the participation of my talented and hardworking fellow citizens will continue to contribute significantly to the nation’s prosperity. I wish for this special occasion to be beneficial for all the residents of Chhattisgarh.”
Defense Minister Rajnath Singh also conveyed his greetings, highlighting Chhattisgarh’s rich natural resources, tribal heritage, and diverse folk culture. He noted that the hardworking and talented people of the state have made significant contributions to the nation’s progress.
In his post, Singh expressed, “I hope that Chhattisgarh establishes new dimensions of development, prosperity, and public welfare, playing a vital role in realizing the vision of a developed India.”

Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sahay remarked in his X post that the 26-year journey of Chhattisgarh is a glorious saga of the dreams, struggles, and resolutions of millions of its residents. He stated that the state is now writing new chapters of peace, good governance, and development. Sahay concluded by wishing all residents a happy and prosperous Statehood Day, hoping for continued progress toward self-reliance and a developed future.
