Vivo T4 Pro to Launch in India Soon, May Feature 6.78-Inch 1.5K Display

(Kiran News) – Smartphone major Vivo is set to introduce the T4 Pro in India, as part of its T4 series expansion. The company has released a teaser showcasing the rear design of the handset, which will replace the previously launched T3 Pro. Sales will be conducted via Flipkart, where a dedicated microsite for the device is already live with a “Coming Soon” tag.

The teaser, posted on social media platform X, reveals a golden finish and a pill-shaped camera island with 3x periscope zoom capability. The handset is also expected to come with AI-powered features.

Expected Specifications

The Vivo T4 Pro may sport a 6.78-inch display with 1.5K resolution. It is likely to be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor. The device could feature a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 primary camera.

For comparison, the Vivo T3 Pro offers a 6.77-inch Full HD+ AMOLED screen, Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset, the same 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 sensor, a 16-megapixel selfie camera, and a 5,500mAh battery with 80W wired fast charging.

Vivo’s Market Performance

India’s smartphone shipments grew 7.3 percent year-on-year in the second half of the year, marking an overall market growth of around 0.9 percent. Vivo has maintained its top position in the Indian smartphone market for six consecutive quarters.

Recently, the company launched the Vivo T4R 5G, powered by the 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 7400 chipset. Vivo claims it to be the slimmest smartphone with a quad-curved display. The T4R 5G features a 6.77-inch HDR10+ AMOLED screen (2392×1080 pixels) with a 120Hz refresh rate.
