Mumbai, March 26: Filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri and Bhushan Kumar have joined forces for a new project. They are set to produce a film titled ‘Operation Sindoor,’ which is based on a terror attack. This film draws inspiration from Lieutenant General K.J.S. Dhillon’s book.
Vivek Agnihotri confirmed the news on his official Instagram account, sharing a detailed note about the film. He stated that ‘Operation Sindoor’ is based on Lieutenant General K.J.S. ‘Tiny’ Dhillon’s book, ‘Operation Sindoor: The Untold Story of India’s Deep Strikes Inside Pakistan.’
In his note, Vivek wrote, “Bhushan Kumar and I have collaborated for Operation Sindoor. This is a story that has redefined security across the subcontinent and exposed Pakistan’s nuclear lies.”
He emphasized that the film aims to bring true events to the big screen that play a crucial role in strengthening India’s security. The director noted that this film is not merely for entertainment but is intended to convey reality to the audience.
Vivek explained, “The film’s narrative is based on the events following the Pahalgam terrorist attack, and extensive research has been conducted in collaboration with various branches of the Indian Armed Forces. This story is rooted in real events, aimed not at sensationalism but at revealing the truth: with facts, clarity, and the magic of cinema.”
Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri will produce the film through T-Series and I Am Buddha Productions. However, further details about the film have yet to be revealed.
