Violent Clash Erupts in Muradnagar Following Minor Dispute Among Children

Ghaziabad, March 9: A minor dispute escalated into a violent clash in the Maliknagar Bamba Road area of Muradnagar, Ghaziabad, last night. The incident caused chaos and panic among residents.

The altercation began around 8 PM after iftar during Ramadan, when children from both sides engaged in a trivial argument. The situation quickly escalated, involving adults and old grievances, leading to a confrontation. Soon, the dispute turned physical, with bricks and stones being thrown from rooftops and alleys. The violence continued for an extended period, forcing local residents to take shelter in their homes and causing passersby to flee in fear.

Upon receiving reports, the Muradnagar police arrived at the scene and took immediate action to control the situation. Their presence eventually halted the stone-pelting. At least five individuals, including Sonu, Sami, Imrana, Ruksana, and Meharaj, sustained serious injuries and were rushed to the Muradnagar Community Health Center for treatment. Police confirmed that multiple people from both sides were injured.

In response to the heightened tension in the area, police have increased patrols. They are currently working to identify the attackers through CCTV footage, mobile videos, and eyewitness accounts. Videos related to the incident, showcasing the violence and chaos, have rapidly gone viral on social media.

Authorities have detained four individuals from both sides for questioning. Police officials stated that all involved will be identified and face strict legal action. To maintain peace, additional police forces have been deployed in the area, and investigations are ongoing. Local residents are expressing their fears over the incident and are calling for calm.
