Vijay Calls for Support Ahead of Tamil Nadu Elections, Criticizes DMK and BJP

Chennai, April 21: Vijay, the president of the Tamilga Vetrik Kazhagam (TVK), has made an emotional appeal to the people of Tamil Nadu, urging them to vote for his party in the upcoming assembly elections on April 23. He emphasized the importance of voting for the ‘Whistle’ symbol.

In a detailed statement addressing the state’s citizens, the actor-turned-politician expressed heartfelt gratitude for the love and support he has received since entering politics. He acknowledged that his political journey has not been easy, filled with various challenges and hardships. However, he credited the love from the public as his driving force.

Vijay also targeted his opponents, labeling the ruling DMK as an anti-people force and accusing the BJP of divisive politics. He made it clear that he will not bow to any pressure or fear, whether from political powers or large corporate interests.

He asserted that the bond between him and the people is unbreakable. He attributed the growing strength of his party to divine grace, as well as the support from women and youth. Additionally, he noted that he is receiving significant backing from Tamils living around the world.

Vijay highlighted that his political stance is not supported by any major political framework or system but is propelled by the common people’s backing. He believes that people see him as one of their own, which he considers his greatest strength.

He cautioned voters to be wary of leaders who enter politics solely for personal gain, stating that such individuals could jeopardize the future of the nation and upcoming generations. Therefore, he stressed the importance of voting wisely.

He urged the public to come out in large numbers on election day and vote with their families. Vijay reiterated that voting for the Whistle symbol represents a clear and strong choice for the people.

He expressed confidence that his party will perform well this time, encouraging the public by saying, “Let us lead, let us make history – victory is certain.”
