Chandigarh, August 17: The Punjab State Cooperative Milk Producers Federation Limited (Verka) has announced the recruitment of qualified candidates for various positions, including Deputy Manager. A total of 172 vacancies have been officially notified, inviting applications from interested individuals.
Among the 172 vacancies, there are 15 positions for Deputy Manager (Marketing), 2 for Deputy Manager (Finance and Accounts), 4 for Deputy Manager (Human Resources), 7 for Deputy Manager (Purchase/Store), 7 for Deputy Manager (Procurement), 8 for Deputy Manager (Animal Nutrition), 18 for Deputy Manager (Animal Husbandry), 53 for Deputy Manager (Production), 14 for Deputy Manager (Quality Assurance), 17 for Deputy Manager (Engineering), 1 for Deputy Manager (Electrical), 13 for Deputy Manager (Civil), 8 for Deputy Manager (System and MIS), 2 for Deputy Manager (Seed Multiplication), and 3 for Deputy Manager (SCDL).
The online application process started on August 5 at 12 PM and will close on August 25. Candidates wishing to apply can complete their registration on Verka’s official website before the deadline. The last date for submitting the application fee is set for August 28.
Applicants must possess an MBA or equivalent from a recognized institution, CA/ICWA/ICFA or CA Inter qualified, along with four years of relevant experience. Other acceptable qualifications include B.Tech/M.Tech, MSc/MVSc, BVSc and AH, or a Master’s degree in the relevant field.
The minimum age for applicants is 18 years, while the maximum age is capped at 45 years, calculated as of July 1. Candidates from reserved categories will receive age relaxation as per regulations.
Selection of eligible candidates will be based on application scrutiny, a written examination, and relevant experience. The basic salary for selected candidates will be ₹56,100 per month, along with additional benefits and allowances.
During the application process, candidates must pay the specified application fee online, which is ₹1,000 for General/OBC candidates and ₹600 for SC/EWS/PWD candidates.
