Guna, March 14: A public grievance redressal camp was organized in Bajranggarh, Guna. Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia, along with the in-charge minister, district collector, local legislators, and district administration officials, attended the event. Scindia emphasized that, similar to last year, this initiative aims to resolve all public grievances collectively. The administration and relevant officials strive to address each application on the spot.
He mentioned that he conducts such programs annually in the assembly. Last year, events were held in February, March, and April. This year, the camps are scheduled for March, April, and May. During this tour, issues faced by the residents of Guna and Bamori are being addressed. The next round will focus on resolving problems for residents from all three assembly constituencies in Ashoknagar. In May, the camp will tackle issues for residents from all three assembly constituencies in Shivpuri.
Scindia reported that a total of 710 applications were presented at the grievance camp, with 150 being heard. Out of these, 99 applications were resolved immediately. The issues ranged from BPL cards to the Prime Minister’s Housing Scheme and assistance for health-related expenses. All these applications were addressed on the spot.
He added that he has assigned the responsibility of unresolved cases to the collector. For issues needing district-level resolution, he has requested action. Matters requiring state-level intervention have been assigned to the in-charge minister, while he will handle those needing central-level resolution.
It is noteworthy that rail services in the Guna parliamentary constituency have improved. Thanks to the efforts of Scindia, who is also the Union Minister for Communications and Development of the Northeastern Region, significant steps have been taken to enhance rail connectivity for the residents of Ashoknagar and Kolaras.
