Union Minister Giriraj Singh Targets Opposition, Calls for Unity Against Divisive Forces
Giriraj Singh criticizes the opposition for attempting to divide the nation, echoing PM Modis call for unity on Vijayadashami.

Patna, October 21 (Daily Kiran) : Central Minister Giriraj Singh has accused the opposition of trying to divide the nation. Speaking in Patna, he emphasized that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s call for national unity during Vijayadashami was entirely appropriate.
On Tuesday, Modi urged citizens to unite against those forces threatening the country’s dignity, social harmony, and cultural heritage. Singh reiterated this sentiment, stating that India is progressing independently, without yielding to external pressures.
He specifically referred to the so-called “tukde-tukde gang,” alleging that they aim to fracture the nation. Singh asserted that Modi’s message on Vijayadashami was on point. He accused certain groups of operating under the influence of external powers, claiming that Congress leader Rahul Gandhi leads this faction. Singh also criticized the Aam Aadmi Party and its leader, Arvind Kejriwal.
The minister labeled these individuals as part of a “tukde-tukde gang” led by what he termed an “urban Naxal,” referring to Gandhi. He included the “cockroach party” in his critique, suggesting their true nature has been exposed. Singh urged citizens to remain vigilant against these so-called anti-national forces and to reject such groups.
He expressed concern over the prevalence of the “tukde-tukde gang” in the country, asserting their intention to disrupt national unity. Singh pointed to comments made by activist Prashant Bhushan, who suggested that if democratic methods fail, protests could escalate to violence.
Additionally, Singh called for action against groups attempting to sow division in society. He claimed these factions are trying to garner support from the Muslim community, particularly targeting Bangladeshi and Rohingya migrants, by raising issues related to youth and the Special Intensive Revision of the electoral roll.
Responding to remarks from Shiv Sena-UBT MP Sanjay Raut, Singh remarked that both Raut and Gandhi seem to be in a competition to make the most absurd statements, indicating their lack of awareness about their own comments.
