Sanjay Raut Accuses Maharashtra Minister of Threatening Opposition to Elevate Eknath Shinde

Sanjay Raut alleges threats from Minister Gulabrao Patil to ensure Eknath Shindes rise as Chief Minister in Maharashtra.

Mumbai, October 21 (Daily Kiran) : Shiv Sena (UBT) Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Raut has launched a strong attack on the Maharashtra government and the faction led by Eknath Shinde. Speaking to the media, Raut claimed that Gulabrao Patil, a minister in Shinde’s cabinet, issued threats to ensure Shinde’s ascent to the Chief Minister‘s position. Raut stated, “Gulabrao Patil warned that anyone opposing Eknath Shinde’s bid for Chief Minister would be eliminated.”

Raut emphasized that this threat comes from a member of the Fadnavis cabinet, not an ordinary citizen. He further accused the cabinet of harboring members associated with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. Raut questioned Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, asking, “Is this not a direct threat to you? It suggests that Shinde intends to eliminate Fadnavis to become Chief Minister. Anyone who resists will face dire consequences.”

Raut also directed his criticism at the central government, alleging that both the Prime Minister and the Union Home Minister are enemies of the nation, along with the Election Commission. He asserted that the Shiv Sena plans to expand its influence and that Eknath Shinde will soon reclaim the Chief Minister’s office.

Previously, Raut had accused the central government of attempting to re-establish a system akin to the East India Company. He reiterated his concerns about potential chaos, stating, “I warned that chaos would ensue if this government remains in power, and I stand by that prediction.”
