Union Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal Criticizes Congress Over Election Allegations

Jaipur, October 12 (Daily Kiran) : Union Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal has launched a strong critique of the Congress party over allegations of electoral fraud and voter list manipulation. Speaking to reporters in Jaipur, he accused the party, led by Rahul Gandhi, of questioning constitutional institutions without evidence following their electoral defeat.

Meghwal emphasized that discussions regarding the Special Investigation Report (SIR) had occurred in both the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha, allowing ample opportunity for all voices to be heard. Despite this, he claimed Congress made unfounded assertions, including allegations that numerous names were removed from the voter list. He pointed out that the Election Commission had issued a press note clarifying that some voters were deceased and others had changed their residences, information Congress has seemingly ignored.

The minister remarked that Congress is unfairly placing the blame for their loss on the Election Commission and the voter list, while the reality is that the Commission conducted the electoral process transparently. He stated, “In a democracy, winning and losing are part of the game, but questioning constitutional institutions after every defeat is not a correct tradition.”

Meghwal also directed his criticism towards the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), accusing it of sponsoring a protest group that incites chaos in the streets. He expressed confidence that the public is aware of these actions and will respond in the upcoming panchayat elections. Earlier, he had taken to social media platform ‘X’ to launch a scathing attack on Congress.

In his post, he wrote, “Those who opposed the grand and divine Ram temple in Ayodhya and denied the existence of Lord Ram are now calling the chaos on the streets a ‘procession of Lord Shiva.’ Such disrespect towards the faith of Lord Shiva and every Sanatani will never be forgiven by the nation.”

Meghwal concluded by asserting that the BJP is fully prepared for the panchayat elections, highlighting that the central government’s initiatives have reached every village and that the party’s organization in Rajasthan is in a strong position. He expressed optimism for a significant victory for the BJP in the upcoming elections, predicting that the public will once again reject Congress.
