Two Pakistani Astronauts Arrive in China for Training

Beijing, April 25: Two Pakistani astronauts arrived at the Chinese Astronaut Research and Training Center on Friday, according to China’s Manned Space Engineering Office. They will participate in joint training alongside Chinese astronauts.

The selection process for the first batch of foreign astronauts under China’s manned space program concluded in early April. Following this, two candidates from Pakistan—Muhammad Zeeshan Ali and Khurram Dawood—were officially chosen.

Reports indicate that after successfully completing all training phases and evaluations, one of them will join a space mission as a payload specialist. This astronaut will become the first foreign astronaut to enter the Chinese space station.
