Trump Suggests Iran Behind Attempted Attack on Flydubai Flight

Washington, October 6 (Daily Kiran) : President Donald Trump expressed his belief that Iran was behind an attempted attack on a Flydubai flight. However, Vice President JD Vance noted that no concrete evidence has yet been found linking the incident directly to Tehran.

When asked by a reporter if Iran was responsible for the alleged terrorist attack involving Flydubai, Trump responded, “Yes, I think so. Personally, I believe that.” He did not provide any evidence to support his claim.

In contrast, Vance took a more cautious stance regarding the potential involvement of Iran. He referenced CIA Director John Ratcliffe, stating, “I will rely on the opinions of John Ratcliffe and intelligence officials regarding this matter.” Vance emphasized, “I do not want to say anything before an official announcement. We are certainly investigating this, but so far, I have not seen any solid evidence that would lead to a conclusion.” He added that the U.S. is reviewing procedures related to foreign pilots in light of the incident.

The Trump administration appeared more confident about Iran’s potential role in a separate security threat that emerged in Britain. Trump confirmed that U.S. bombers were relocated due to a specific threat.

When questioned about the nature of the threat, Trump stated, “Yes, I think we can say that. Those planes did not leave for no reason.” He explained, “We received some threats, and instead of giving the enemy an opportunity, we will catch and defeat them. But why leave the planes there? So, we moved them around a bit.”

Later, when asked if Iran had deployed combat drones to Britain, prompting the decision to relocate the aircraft, Trump replied, “I can’t tell you that, but if they did, they will pay a heavy price for it.”

He asserted that the U.S. is aware of the individuals behind the threats, stating, “We received threats. If we are being threatened, we can move our planes elsewhere, which reduces the risk. We also know who is making the threats, and now they are in big trouble.”

When pressed about a possible connection to Iran, Trump suggested, “It would likely be connected to Iran.”
