Trump Critiques Iranian Presidents Apology, Claims Iran Surrendered to Neighboring Countries

Washington, March 7: Iranian President Masoud Pajeshkian’s recent apology to neighboring countries has drawn sharp criticism from U.S. President Donald Trump. On Saturday, Trump took to the Truth Social platform to mock Pajeshkian, labeling the apology as a move made under pressure.

Trump stated that Iran has bowed to its neighbors, having requested forgiveness and pledged not to attack them again. He attributed this shift to the ongoing assaults from the U.S. and Israel.

In his post, Trump remarked, “Iran has been badly beaten in this conflict. They have apologized and surrendered to their Middle Eastern neighbors, promising not to fire upon them again.”

According to Trump, this promise was made solely due to the relentless attacks from the U.S. and Israel. He emphasized that Iran had ambitions to dominate the Middle East, and this marks the first time in thousands of years that Iran has been defeated by its neighboring countries.

The U.S. President claimed that Gulf nations expressed gratitude towards him following Iran’s apology. He quoted them saying, “Thank you, President Trump,” to which he replied, “You’re welcome!”

Trump asserted that Iran will no longer threaten the Middle East and labeled them as “losers” who will remain so for decades unless they surrender or are completely eradicated.

He also reiterated the potential for significant military action against Iran, warning that the country could face dire consequences due to its behavior.

Earlier, Pajeshkian had stated on state television that Iran could cease attacks on neighboring countries, but would retaliate if attacked.

In response to Pajeshkian’s comments, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) declared its respect for the sovereignty of neighboring nations and insisted that no attacks had been made against them.

Local media reported that the IRGC also warned that if U.S. and Israeli assaults continue, all military bases in the region would become targets for Iran.
