Tragic Passing of Prateek Yadav Sparks Calls for Investigation

Lucknow, May 13: Prateek Yadav, son of Mulayam Singh Yadav and husband of BJP leader Aparna Yadav, passed away early Wednesday morning at a civil hospital in Lucknow. Following his death, leaders from the Samajwadi Party have demanded a thorough investigation into the circumstances surrounding his demise.

Samajwadi Party spokesperson Shaukat Ali expressed his sorrow, stating, “This is very sad news for us, and the atmosphere today is quite somber. It feels like we have lost a young individual. An investigation into this matter is necessary.”

He continued, “He was a young man dedicated to serving society, and now he is no longer with us. This is a matter of great concern and sadness for all of us. It is a tragic event, and all aspects of it should be properly investigated. We need to determine the cause of his death. Whatever becomes clear in the investigation should be made known to everyone.”

Another spokesperson, Fakhrul Hasan Chand, remarked, “This is indeed a very tragic incident. Akhilesh Yadav has arrived at the post-mortem house. We first learned about this through the media at 6 AM. We were informed that he was taken to the hospital, where he passed away. This is extremely sad. We are all present here at the post-mortem house.”

A party worker added, “When we heard this news at home through you, we were left speechless. We cannot bear the sorrow of his passing. We are all in deep shock. Now, the truth should come out through you regarding how he died.”

Earlier, SP chief Akhilesh Yadav expressed his condolences over Prateek Yadav’s death. He visited KGMU in Lucknow, where the post-mortem was taking place. Akhilesh wrote on X, “The death of Prateek Yadav is extremely sad. May God grant peace to the departed soul. Humble tributes.”
