
Kaimur, September 18 (Daily Kiran) : A tragic motorcycle accident occurred on Friday in Kaimur district, Bihar, resulting in the deaths of three individuals and injuries to two others. The incident took place near the Natiniya Mai temple, between the villages of Bagini and Bahadura.
The deceased have been identified as Vikas Kumar, also known as Vikas Chaudhary, 18-year-old Bittu Kumar, and 16-year-old Dilkhush Rai. Vikas was the son of the late Avadhesh Chaudhary, while Bittu and Dilkhush were the sons of Ramashankar Chaudhary and Jainu Rai, respectively. All three were residents of Bagini village.
According to Arun Chaudhary, Vikas’s uncle, the young men were traveling from Bagini towards Mohania block when their motorcycle collided head-on with another motorcycle. The impact was so severe that both motorcycles ended up in a water-filled ditch by the roadside. Bystanders witnessed the aftermath and alerted family members and the police.
Upon receiving the report, family members rushed to the scene. Mohania police arrived shortly thereafter, conducting an investigation and sending the bodies for post-mortem examinations to Bhabua Sadar Hospital. The two injured individuals were admitted to Mohania Sub-Divisional Hospital for treatment.
The families of the deceased have called on the authorities for compensation, expressing their distress over the sudden loss and the severe challenges it poses to their households.
Dayanand Kumar, the officer in charge of Mohania, stated that police are examining both motorcycles involved in the collision to determine the circumstances surrounding the accident. He confirmed, “Three individuals from Bagini village have lost their lives in this road accident. Two others are receiving medical care. Further information will be available after the post-mortem and investigation.”
