Tragic Boat Capsize Claims Lives of 13 Children in Bihar

Vaishali, October 14 (Daily Kiran) : A tragic incident occurred in Vaishali district, Bihar, when a boat capsized while crossing the Ganges River, resulting in the deaths of 13 children. All the victims were reported to be under the age of 15. This heartbreaking event has sparked an outpouring of grief in political circles, particularly among leaders of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

BJP MP Ravi Kishan from Gorakhpur expressed his deep sorrow over the incident. Speaking to the media in Raipur, he said, “I am deeply saddened to hear about this tragedy. My condolences are with the affected families. I have often visited Hajipur, and this news has left me very distressed.” He assured that the government would provide every possible assistance to the families during this difficult time.

In Patna, Bihar BJP state president Sanjay Sarawagi also described the incident as extremely tragic. He stated, “This is a very sad event, claiming many lives, including innocent children. The BJP expresses its heartfelt condolences.” Sarawagi noted that Prime Minister Modi, the BJP national president, and the Chief Minister have also mourned this loss. He announced that relief funds would be provided and emphasized that an investigation would be conducted to determine why the boat was operating at night. He made it clear that strict action would be taken against anyone found responsible for negligence.

Additionally, Bihar government minister Ram Kripal Yadav criticized the opposition leader, stating, “Raghopur is the constituency of the opposition leader. This is a tragic event, and he should visit the area to express condolences to the affected families, as they are his constituents.”
