Tourists Flock to Srinagars Tulip Garden Despite Rainy Weather

Srinagar, March 31: Srinagar’s Tulip Garden is bustling with visitors these days. Over the past 14 days, a significant number of tourists have flocked to the garden. By the evening of the 14th day, the visitor count reached an impressive 169,100, despite the adverse weather and rain.

Assistant Flower Agriculture Officer Imran Ahmed noted that the number of tourists remained strong even during the rains and Ramadan. Each passing day sees an increase in visitors, attracting not just locals but also tourists from across the country and abroad.

This year, around 100,000 local tourists, 68,000 national tourists, and over 400 international visitors have come to admire the beauty of the Tulip Garden. The diverse flower species and natural beauty have captivated everyone. Despite continuous rain in the first week, people still enjoyed the garden. Although it has rained again in the past two days, the good news is that the flower crops have not suffered any damage. Ahmed mentioned that if the weather remains favorable, the Tulip Show could continue for at least 30 more days.

Dev Patel, a tourist from Gujarat, shared his experience of seeing flowers in various colors, describing it as a unique and splendid experience. He stated, “I have never seen such a beautiful sight before. Everyone should visit at least once because if you haven’t seen Kashmir, then what have you seen?” Many tourists, like him, are here to enjoy the variety of flowers and the garden’s beauty.

Female tourist Shweta Patel also praised the Tulip Garden, saying, “The weather and the garden are beautiful. The people are very nice and helpful. The atmosphere is incredibly peaceful and pleasant.”

As in previous years, the vibrant colors of the flowers in the Tulip Garden are attracting visitors. Millions of tulips are on display, and everyone is amazed by their diversity. The number of people visiting the garden is increasing daily, with families and friends coming together to enjoy the experience.
