Beijing, May 10: All systems for China’s Tianzhou-10 cargo spacecraft have successfully completed pre-launch preparations. Additionally, the weather conditions during the launch period are reported to align with the mission’s requirements.
On May 8, a full-system joint simulation exercise was conducted for the Tianzhou-10 cargo spacecraft launch mission. This exercise was successfully completed, confirming that all systems are fully prepared for launch.
The simulation tested nearly all major procedures, excluding ignition and the actual launch. It involved the participation of the majority of systems, allowing for a comprehensive practice of various mission aspects.
According to reports, personnel, facilities, and equipment at the Wenchang Space Launch Site in Hainan Province are in good condition. The weather during the launch period is also expected to meet established standards.
Tianzhou-10 is the fifth cargo mission launched following the application and development phase of China’s space station. On May 8, the Tianzhou-10 cargo spacecraft and Long March-7 Y-11 carrier rocket were transported to the launch area.
Currently, the Chinese space station is operating steadily and is awaiting the arrival of the Tianzhou-10 mission.
