The incident unfolded in the Tumgaon police jurisdiction, where a local resident, Rakesh Sahu, was attacked after refusing to give a lift to another man.
According to reports, Rakesh was returning home after dinner when he was approached by Hari Dhruv at Ambedkar Chowk, who requested a ride. When Rakesh declined, an argument ensued.
