
Lucknow, October 5 (Daily Kiran) : Uttar Pradesh’s Deputy Chief Minister, Brijesh Pathak, addressed the annual convention of the Teachers Federation of India in Lucknow on October 5, 2026. He highlighted that teachers do more than just impart knowledge; they play a vital role in shaping the personality, character, and future of the new generation. He emphasized that teachers are the true architects of society, and the state government is committed to safeguarding their interests and dignity.
Welcoming educators from various states, Pathak extended his congratulations and best wishes for the convention. He stated that the foundation of any nation’s progress lies in its education system, with teachers being its strongest link. Teachers not only provide curriculum knowledge but also prepare students for life’s challenges. They instill values, discipline, responsibility, and a sense of duty towards the nation. Therefore, honoring teachers and protecting their interests is a top priority for the government.
“You are the creators of the future,” Pathak told the gathered educators. “You prepare children for their lives ahead. I assure you that the government stands with you in every circumstance.” He noted that the government is continuously working to address teachers’ issues and enhance the education system.
Pathak also shared that Uttar Pradesh is rapidly advancing on a new path of development. The state boasts the largest expressway network in the country, with various development projects underway in all 75 districts. He stressed that Uttar Pradesh plays a significant role in realizing Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of a developed India.
The Deputy Chief Minister pointed out that the investment climate in the state has strengthened, attracting global investors. There has also been significant expansion in the number of airports and air connectivity. In the health sector, medical colleges, hospitals, and other facilities are being developed.
Criticizing previous administrations, Pathak remarked that the law and order situation during their tenure was well-known, with rampant crime and mafia activity. In contrast, he asserted that Uttar Pradesh now enjoys the rule of law. The government has adopted a zero-tolerance policy towards crime and corruption, fostering a sense of security and trust among citizens.
Regarding the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) political stance, Pathak stated that the party seeks support from the public based on development and welfare, rather than caste or religion. He questioned opposition parties about their lack of tangible achievements during their time in power.
Pathak concluded by stating that the people of Uttar Pradesh are experiencing development, good governance, and a secure environment. He reaffirmed the government’s commitment to establishing the state as a leading economy and a strong foundation for a developed India.
