TCL Launches 5G Mobile WiFi P50 and Wi-Fi 7 Router BE36 at CES 2026

At CES 2026, TCL unveiled two new devices aimed at enhancing mobile and home internet connectivity: the TCL 5G Mobile WiFi P50 and the TCL WiFi Router BE36. These products are designed to offer users faster, more reliable internet whether on the move or within large households.

TCL 5G Mobile WiFi P50: Advanced Mobile Hotspot

The TCL 5G Mobile WiFi P50 is TCL’s first mobile hotspot supporting 5G mmWave technology along with Sub-6GHz bands, enabling peak download speeds up to 3.97Gbps. It supports Wi-Fi 7 tri-band connections with speeds reaching 5.8Gbps and can connect up to 64 devices simultaneously. The device features a 5,000mAh battery that provides up to 12 hours of continuous use.

Additional features include a 2.4-inch touchscreen for easy monitoring of data usage, connected devices, and network status. The P50 also includes a built-in Gigabit Ethernet port for wired connections and supports both fast wired and wireless charging. It can double as a portable power bank, making it ideal for professionals, commuters, and frequent travellers.

TCL WiFi Router BE36: Home Connectivity Optimised

The TCL WiFi Router BE36 is designed for home use, supporting dual-band Wi-Fi 7 with speeds up to 3.6Gbps. It utilises a 3T3R antenna configuration to enhance 5GHz signal coverage and can handle up to 512 simultaneous device connections. The router supports EasyMesh R6 technology, enabling users to create a mesh network with multiple BE36 units for comprehensive home coverage.

Security is a major focus with features like malware protection, anomaly detection, brute-force attack defence, and smart home security. The router supports VPN protocols including PPTP, L2TP, and IPSec. For gamers, it offers bandwidth optimisation and latency reduction through its gaming acceleration feature. Additionally, the BE36 includes a 2.5GE port for high-speed wired connectivity.

Alongside these connectivity products, TCL showcased other innovations at CES 2026, such as the RayNeo Air 4 Pro—claimed to be the world’s first HDR10-enabled AR glasses—the NxtPaper 70 Pro with an advanced NxtPaper 4.0 display, and the X11L SQD-Mini LED TVs featuring up to 20,000 dimming zones and 10,000-nit peak brightness.
