Chennai, May 20: The Tamil Nadu Board has reported a remarkable pass rate of 94.31% for the Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) Class 10 examinations for the academic year 2025-26. The Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE) announced the results on Wednesday.
Over nine lakh students participated in this significant public examination held across the state. They can now check their scores through various government-provided platforms.
The SSLC exams took place in March and April at examination centers statewide. Millions of students considered this examination a crucial milestone in their academic journey. After weeks of anticipation, students and parents expressed relief and joy upon the announcement of the results.
Students can view and download their provisional mark sheets via official websites. To access their scores online, they must enter their registration number and date of birth in the designated fields. Education officials have advised students to keep their hall tickets ready to avoid any delays in accessing their results.
Officials also noted that a large number of students accessing the websites simultaneously could lead to temporary technical delays. They reassured students and parents not to panic in such situations.
In addition to online access, students can obtain their exam results from their respective schools. School administrations across the state have been directed to assist students and parents in viewing and verifying their results without any inconvenience.
To ensure widespread access, the government has also arranged to send exam results via SMS. School students will receive result-related information on the mobile numbers registered at their schools, while private candidates will be notified on the numbers provided during online registration.
Officials from the School Education Department stated that multiple options have been made available to quickly and easily deliver results to students in both urban and rural areas, thereby reducing server pressure. The department aims to provide a smooth experience for students on one of the busiest result days of the academic year.
