Mumbai, September 22 (Daily Kiran) : Tamannaah Bhatia is set to appear in the upcoming film “The One – Force of the Forest.” She recently shared that this film is the first in Hindi cinema to celebrate the Chhath festival with the respect it deserves. The actress praised the filmmakers for their attention to detail, ensuring that the festival is portrayed with authenticity and sensitivity.
The film features a special song for Chhath Puja titled “Chhathi Maiya” (also known as “Chhathi Maiya Suniin Liiin Vinti Hamaar”), where Tamannaah showcases a traditional look. The song has received immense love from audiences, which has delighted the actress.
During the trailer launch event, Tamannaah remarked, “This is the first time Chhath Puja is being presented in Hindi cinema in such a way. To be honest, Deepak and Arunabh understand it very well, as they have great respect for it. They paid attention to every detail during the shoot, capturing it beautifully and respectfully.”
Tamannaah emphasized the significance of Chhath, stating that the festival holds great meaning for her. She noted how beautifully the essence and emotions of the festival were depicted in the song. “Chhath Puja symbolizes gratitude. It’s a festival to express thanks for everything we have,” she explained.
The actress expressed her gratitude to the filmmakers for including her in this song, saying, “Thank you for making me a part of this.” She mentioned that “Chhathi Maiya” is capturing everyone’s attention and is receiving positive feedback on social media. “This film is very special for all of us. Our country has many folk tales, and bringing them to the big screen requires courage, clarity, and vision,” she added.
“The One – Force of the Forest” marks the first collaboration between Siddharth Malhotra and Tamannaah Bhatia. The film also stars Manish Paul, Shweta Tiwari, Sunil Grover, and Anup Soni in significant roles. Directed by Deepak Kumar Mishra, the film is produced by Shobha Kapoor and Ekta Kapoor under the Balaji Telefilms banner. It is set to hit theaters on September 25.
