Successful Surgery for Umesh Chauhan After Tiger Shroff Shooting Incident

Umesh Chauhan underwent successful surgery to remove a bullet after being injured in a shooting incident involving Tiger Shroff.

Mumbai, October 21 (Daily Kiran) : Umesh Chauhan, who was injured in the shooting incident involving Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff, underwent successful surgery early Tuesday morning at KEM Hospital in Mumbai. During the procedure, doctors removed a bullet lodged in his body. According to hospital officials, Chauhan’s condition remains stable post-surgery, and he has been placed in the ICU for monitoring.

The surgery took place around 8 AM in the Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery (CVTS) department under general anesthesia. The operation was led by Dr. Uday Eknath Jadhav, head of the CVTS department, along with Dr. Ram Prajapati, head of the surgical unit. After the successful extraction of the bullet, Chauhan was transferred to the ESR Intensive Care Unit for further treatment and observation.

Hospital administration reported that Chauhan’s condition is currently stable, and the medical team is closely monitoring his health while providing necessary care. A medical bulletin issued by KEM Hospital on October 19 indicated that despite the bullet wound, Chauhan’s vital bodily functions were stable, and there was no damage to his heart or lungs. Initially, doctors opted for conservative treatment before planning the surgery to remove the bullet.

Due to the bullet being lodged in a sensitive area of his chest, the medical team was cautious and did not rush into surgery. After consulting specialists and conducting a thorough medical evaluation, the decision to proceed with the operation was made.

Chauhan was injured during the shooting incident aimed at Tiger Shroff and was immediately admitted to KEM Hospital, where he has been receiving treatment for several days. Following the successful surgery, reports suggest that his condition is improving.
