Sourav Ganguly Returns to Television as Host of Bigg Boss Bangla

Mumbai, September 4 (Daily Kiran) : Former Indian cricket captain Sourav Ganguly is making a significant return to television after a decade. He will host the Bengali version of the popular reality show Bigg Boss Bangla.

Having hosted various television programs throughout his career, Ganguly expressed excitement about this new venture. He noted that returning to this format after ten years and collaborating with Endemol Shine India for the first time makes this project particularly special.

Ganguly stated, “Bigg Boss is the biggest show in the country. Its unique reach and the way this franchise has adapted across different languages set it apart. While I have hosted many shows, I have never had the opportunity to lead Bigg Boss. Joining Endemol Shine India and heading the Bengali version after ten years is a fantastic and fresh experience.”

This marks Ganguly’s entry into the Bigg Boss franchise, offering his fans a golden opportunity to see and hear him on screen once again.

Meanwhile, the Hindi edition of Bigg Boss is gearing up for its landmark 20th season, with superstar Salman Khan returning as host. The new season is set to premiere on September 5, featuring the franchise’s signature mix of contestants, tasks, conflicts, and unexpected twists.

The 20th season is considered a significant milestone for the franchise, with producers introducing new elements within the Bigg Boss house, including double XL rooms and other exciting features.
