Son of LJP MLA Abducted Near Amity University in Ranchi

Ranchi, September 7 (Daily Kiran) : The son of Janardan Paswan, a member of the Lok Janashakti Party (LJP) from Chatra, was abducted near Amity University in Ranchi on September 7. The incident has caused widespread alarm in the city, prompting a major search operation by local police.

According to reports, the MLA’s son was forcibly taken by unidentified individuals while he was near the university gate. The young man is a student at the institution. In response to the abduction, police have begun checking all vehicles on routes leading out of Ranchi.

The MLA stated that his son was at the university earlier in the day when a group arrived in Scorpio and Thar vehicles. He alleged that these individuals assaulted his son before taking him away. Paswan noted that three to four Scorpio vehicles were involved in the incident.

Authorities later found the son’s Thar vehicle parked outside the university gate. The MLA has informed senior police officials about the incident and has urged them to expedite the search for his son. Following the report, police teams have become active, reviewing CCTV footage from the university and surrounding areas.

Investigators are working to identify the suspicious vehicles captured on camera and trace their routes. Police have also increased surveillance on key roads leading out of Ranchi, conducting checks on vehicles at major intersections.

In addition to gathering information about the suspicious vehicles, police are interviewing the student’s friends and acquaintances to uncover potential motives behind the abduction.
