
Patna, March 23: A three-day celebration is underway at Gandhi Maidan in Patna, marking Bihar’s 114th Foundation Day on March 22. The event features performances by several Bollywood singers. Recently, singer Sona Mohapatra graced the stage, and on Monday, Shaan is set to enchant the audience with his melodious voice, spreading the essence of Bihar’s culture.
Shaan was spotted at Patna Airport, expressing his excitement for the upcoming performance at Gandhi Maidan. He mentioned that while his face might not show it, he is genuinely thrilled to be in Bihar. “The excitement may not be visible due to fatigue, but I am truly happy to be here and ready to perform. Tonight is going to be a lot of fun, and I will sing many songs,” he stated during a media interaction.
He also extended warm wishes for Bihar Day, saying, “From my side, heartfelt wishes to all the lovely residents of Bihar on this special day.” The singer encouraged everyone to join the celebrations.
Shaan is renowned for his soft and romantic songs in Bollywood. He has delivered numerous hits, including “Tanha Dil,” “Chand Sifarish,” “Jab Se Tere Naina,” “Suno Na,” “Tum Ho To,” and “Mere Haathon Mein.”
On the first day of Bihar Day, Sona Mohapatra also captivated the audience at Gandhi Maidan. She shared photos and videos from the event on social media. Additionally, she visited the Bihar Museum and met with officials from the Bihar Education Department. Sona also connected with Sudha Varghese, who has worked towards uplifting Dalits and Scheduled Castes in Bihar and Uttar Pradesh, promoting education and improving women’s status in the region through her NGO, ‘Nari Gunjan.’
