Mumbai, July 15: A shocking incident has emerged from the Oshiwara area in Andheri West, Mumbai. A man brutally murdered his wife by slitting her throat with a knife near a traffic signal, just a short distance from the Oshiwara police station.
The incident caused panic in the neighborhood. According to police reports, a heated argument erupted between the couple. The dispute escalated quickly, leading the husband to grab a large stone and attack his wife. He then struck her throat with a knife, causing severe injuries that left her bleeding on the spot.
After committing the crime, the husband fled the scene. Upon receiving the information, the Oshiwara police rushed to the location and immediately transported the injured woman to Cooper Hospital. Unfortunately, doctors declared her dead upon arrival.
Following the incident, police launched a search for the suspect in the area. Within a few hours, they managed to apprehend the husband.
Mumbai police confirmed that a murder case has been registered against the accused under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code. Currently, the police are conducting thorough interrogations to uncover the true motive behind the murder.
