Shilpa Shetty Visits Lalbaugcha Raja, Showcases 100-Year-Old Earrings

Mumbai, September 17 (Daily Kiran) : Actress Shilpa Shetty recently visited Lalbaugcha Raja in Mumbai with her sister, Shamita Shetty, and their family. During the visit, she sought blessings from Lord Ganesha, showcasing a traditional look that garnered significant attention.

In a viral video on social media, Shilpa is seen arriving at the temple with her family. After receiving blessings from Bappa, she expressed a desire to take a moment to speak to the mouse, a symbol associated with Lord Ganesha. It is believed that whispering wishes to the mouse helps convey them to Ganesha. However, due to the large crowd, she was unable to do so.

The highlight of her visit was Shilpa’s traditional attire, especially her striking earrings, which she revealed are 100 years old. In the video, she donned a beautiful saree paired with a sleeveless, high-neck maroon blouse. Her look was completed with traditional jewelry, bangles, and rings. Shamita, on the other hand, looked elegant in a royal blue ethnic outfit.

Shilpa celebrates Ganesh Chaturthi every year with her family. This time, she brought home an eco-friendly Ganesh idol made of paper mache instead of the usual plaster of Paris. She shared on social media that her family has been making environmentally conscious choices regarding the idol for several years.

Following the arrival of Bappa, various Bollywood celebrities and notable figures visited her home. Shilpa kept the idol for a day and a half before participating in a vibrant immersion ceremony filled with music and dance.
