Mumbai, 2 January. The much-awaited startup show ‘Shark Tank India’ is returning to Sony TV with its fifth season. Several promos have been released showing new entrepreneurs pitching their ideas to the judges.
The first season of the show aired in 2021 and sealed over 700 deals. This time, the fifth season will feature new judges and fresh ideas.
Multiple promos of ‘Shark Tank India Season 5’ have been shared on social media. Along with the judges from season one, new judges will also appear to evaluate and invest in the startups. The new judges are Shaili Mehrotra (CEO, Fixderma India), Hardik Kothiya (Founder and MD, Razon Solar), Mohit Yadav (Co-founder, Minimalist), Varun Alagh (CEO and Co-founder, Honasa Consumer Limited), Kanika Tekriwal (Founder, JetSetGo Aviation), and Pratham Mittal (Founder, Masters Union and Tetra).
Returning judges from season five include Vineeta Singh, Aman Gupta, Namita Thapar, Ritesh Agarwal, Piyush Bansal, Kunal Bahl, Viraj Bahl, Amit Jain, and Anupam Mittal. The promos show Anupam Mittal expressing frustration with some entrepreneurs, while Vineeta Singh appears impressed by certain ideas.
The promos have generated excitement, and fans are eagerly awaiting the release. After four successful seasons, season five will premiere on 5 January on Sony TV and SonyLIV.
Coinciding with this, the cooking show ‘MasterChef India’ will also launch on Sony TV from 5 January. This season’s theme is ‘with partners,’ meaning contestants will cook in pairs. The show aims to showcase India’s traditional cuisine to the world in innovative ways.
