SBI Recruitment: Last Few Days to Apply for Specialist Cadre Officer Positions

Mumbai, September 20 (Daily Kiran) : The State Bank of India (SBI) has announced the recruitment of Specialist Cadre Officers on a contractual basis, with a total of 207 positions available. This announcement was made through an official notification on the bank’s website. The deadline for applications is set for September 25, 2026.

Among the available positions are roles for one Zonal Head (Retail), five Regional Heads, 24 Relationship Manager-Team Leads, nine Investment Specialists, four Investment Officers, 91 Vice Presidents in Wealth, and 73 Assistant Vice Presidents in Wealth.

The online application process began on September 4 and will remain open until the final deadline. Interested candidates who meet the eligibility criteria can complete their registration on the SBI official website before the cutoff date.

Candidates applying for these roles must possess a graduate degree from a recognized institution or university, along with a postgraduate degree or diploma in Finance, Accounting, Business Management, Commerce, Economics, Capital Markets, Banking, Insurance, or Actuarial Science. Additionally, applicants should have 3 to 15 years of relevant experience, depending on the position, along with other required skills.

The age limit for applicants ranges from 23 to 35 years for some positions, while others may allow candidates up to 50 years old. This age calculation is based on the cutoff date of August 31, 2026. Candidates from reserved categories will receive age relaxation as per regulations.

Selection will be based on the evaluation of submitted applications, document verification, shortlisting, and interviews conducted via phone or video. The final merit list will determine the candidates selected for the positions, with salaries ranging from ₹30.20 lakh to ₹97.00 lakh, depending on the role.

Applicants are required to pay an application fee online, which is set at ₹750 for general, EWS, and OBC categories. Candidates from SC/ST/PWD categories are exempted from this fee.
