Mumbai, March 28: Samsung has officially launched the Galaxy Book 6 series in India, introducing three models: the Galaxy Book 6 Ultra, Galaxy Book 6 Pro, and Galaxy Book 6. This new lineup emphasizes a refreshed design, AMOLED displays, Intel Core Ultra processors, and integrated Galaxy AI features.
The Galaxy Book 6 Ultra boasts a redesigned chassis and an improved internal layout. Samsung has incorporated a wider vapor chamber, thinner fans, and a new hinge system to enhance cooling while maintaining a slim profile. The Galaxy Book 6 Ultra measures just 15.4mm thick, while the Galaxy Book 6 Pro, with a 16-inch display, is 11.9mm thick. All models feature a two-tone backlit keyboard, with the Ultra and Pro versions equipped with a haptic touchpad, while the standard Galaxy Book 6 uses a clickpad.
In terms of display, the Galaxy Book 6 Ultra is equipped with a 16-inch touch AMOLED panel that offers a WQXGA+ resolution of 2880 × 1800 and a peak brightness of up to 1000 nits. The Galaxy Book 6 Pro is available in both 14-inch and 16-inch touch AMOLED displays featuring an anti-reflective coating. The standard Galaxy Book 6 comes with IPS panels that have a WUXGA resolution of 1920 × 1200 and a brightness of 350 nits. The AMOLED models support adaptive refresh rates ranging from 30Hz to 120Hz, Vision Booster, True Bright certification, and low black levels, with Gorilla Glass DXC to minimize reflections.
Performance is driven by the Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors under the Intel Evo platform. Users can choose from Core Ultra 5, 7, and X7 variants, featuring up to 16 CPU cores. Each processor includes an Intel NPU capable of delivering up to 50 TOPS for AI tasks. The Galaxy Book 6 Ultra is also equipped with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Laptop GPU with 8GB GDDR7 memory. The Pro models utilize Intel Arc or integrated graphics, while the standard Book 6 relies on Intel Graphics.
The Galaxy Book 6 Ultra comes with 32GB LPDDR5X RAM and a 1TB PCIe SSD, with expansion options available. The Pro models offer configurations of 16GB or 32GB LPDDR5X RAM with 512GB or 1TB SSD options, and the 16-inch model supports expansion. The standard Book 6 also supports 16GB or 32GB RAM with 512GB or 1TB SSD, with expansion available on the 14-inch version.
Battery capacity for the Ultra is 80.2Wh, supporting 100W USB Type-C charging for the integrated model and 140W for the discrete GPU version. The Pro models feature 67.18Wh for the 14-inch and 78.07Wh for the 16-inch, both with 65W charging. The standard Book 6 has a 61.2Wh battery with 45W charging. Samsung claims up to 30 hours of video playback under typical usage conditions, with the Ultra supporting fast charging up to 63% in approximately 30 minutes.
Audio capabilities on the Ultra include a six-speaker system with Dolby Atmos, featuring four woofers and two tweeters. The Pro 16-inch model uses quad speakers, while the 14-inch model has stereo speakers. The standard Book 6 also includes stereo speakers. All models come with dual-array microphones and a 2MP 1080p webcam.
Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 for the Ultra and Pro models, while the standard Book 6 supports Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.4. The Ultra and Pro models feature two Thunderbolt 4 ports, one USB Type-A port, HDMI 2.1 with support for 8K at 60Hz and 5K at 120Hz, a microSD slot, and a headphone/microphone combo jack. The Book 6 includes two USB Type-C ports, two USB Type-A ports, HDMI, microSD, RJ45, and a security lock slot. All laptops run on Windows 11 Home and come with Samsung Knox security and secured-core PC support.
Samsung has also integrated various Galaxy AI features, including AI Select, AI Cut Out, Note Assist, and Natural Language Search. Cross-device functionalities include Multi Control, Second Screen, Link to Windows, and Storage Share.

The Galaxy Book 6 series is available in Gray and Silver through Samsung’s official website, retail outlets, and authorized partners. Pricing starts at Rs. 1,27,990 for the Galaxy Book 6, Rs. 1,78,990 for the Galaxy Book 6 Pro, and Rs. 2,42,990 for the Galaxy Book 6 Ultra with 32GB RAM and 1TB storage. Launch offers include up to 24 months of no-cost EMI, cashback of up to Rs. 5000 on Ultra and Pro models, Rs. 2000 on the standard model, and student discounts of up to 10 percent.
