Jaipur, 14 August 2025 (Kiran News) : The Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSSB) has released strict guidelines for the Patwari recruitment examination scheduled on 17 August. According to the directives, candidates will not be required to remove religious or cultural symbols such as kada, kirpan, pagdi, and mangalsutra during security checks at the examination centres. However, these items will be permitted only after undergoing a mandatory three-stage screening process.

Innerwear Check for Suspected Candidates
The Board has clearly stated that if any candidate is found suspicious, security officials are authorised to conduct checks up to the level of innerwear to prevent any chances of cheating through Bluetooth or other electronic devices. If any such device or suspicious item is found, the candidate will be barred from entering the exam hall.
Avoid Clothing with Metal Buttons
RSSB Chairman Alok Raj mentioned that full-sleeve shirts and T-shirts are already permitted. However, candidates have been advised to avoid wearing jeans or clothes with metal buttons to ensure smooth scanning through metal detectors.
Advance Communication to Prevent Inconvenience
The Board has assured that all candidates will be informed of these rules well in advance to avoid any unnecessary inconvenience on the examination day. For this year’s Patwari recruitment exam, which is being held for 3,705 posts, a strict surveillance system has been put in place to curb malpractices.
