
Dehradun, February 19: Dr. Mohan Bhagwat, the Chief of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), will be visiting Uttarakhand for two days on February 22 and 23.
This visit is part of the celebrations marking the 100th anniversary of the RSS. The organization aims to conduct extensive Hindu conferences across Uttarakhand, with a target of organizing 1,000 such events throughout the state.
According to RSS officials, a series of social, educational, and cultural programs are being launched to commemorate this centenary year. These Hindu conferences aim to reach various segments of society, sharing the organization’s ideologies and commitment to nation-building. Additionally, there are plans to engage in dialogue with prominent leaders from different fields. Senior officials of the RSS are directly connecting with active members of society through these programs.
Dinesh Semwal, the provincial coordinator, confirmed that Dr. Bhagwat will participate in events at the Bharat Mata Mandir complex in Dehradun during his visit. On February 22, a dialogue session with key citizens from the community is scheduled, featuring distinguished individuals from various sectors. The following day, a special discussion with former soldiers will take place. RSS workers have prepared a list of prominent citizens and retired soldiers to send invitations for these events.
The organization believes that these dialogue sessions will foster a positive environment for building a developed, superior, and empowered India. The programs held during this centenary year are considered significant steps towards strengthening the RSS’s ideology and social participation.
