RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat to Visit Gujarat for Two-Day Program

Ahmedabad, March 4: Mohan Bhagwat, the chief of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), will embark on a two-day visit to Gujarat starting Wednesday. During this trip, he will participate in various events and visit the Shri Swaminarayan Temple.

According to reports, Bhagwat is expected to arrive at the RSS provincial office in Ahmedabad around 10:30 AM on Wednesday. Between 4:45 PM and 6:15 PM, he will visit the Shri Swaminarayan Temple in Vadatal Dham, Kheda district, where he will perform rituals and meet with the temple’s saints.

On Thursday morning, Bhagwat will attend the Shri Revati Baldevji Harikrishna Maharaj Bicentennial Celebration at the Shri Swaminarayan Temple in Jetalpurdham, Ahmedabad. His schedule at the temple is set from 9:30 AM to 11:45 AM, during which he will conduct prayers and interact with members of the religious community associated with the temple. Bhagwat will conclude his visit by departing from Ahmedabad around 4 PM on Thursday.

The RSS chief has made several trips to Gujarat in recent years for organizational reviews and religious events. In mid-October 2025, he visited Gujarat for three days, participating in various programs related to the centenary preparations of the organization and meeting with local leaders.

Earlier, in January 2025, he visited the Shrimad Rajchandra Ashram in Dharmapur, where he engaged with spiritual leaders and members of the ashram community. During his previous visits, he has also held meetings with volunteers and local officials in cities like Ahmedabad and Surat.

Officials indicate that this upcoming visit is part of his regular tours to review organizational activities and current situations across various states, as well as to participate in cultural and religious programs.
