Anupam Kher Calls Dhurandhar 2 an Experience, Exposes Pakistan

Mumbai, March 22: Anupam Kher has praised the recently released film ‘Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge,’ starring Ranveer Singh, which is currently captivating audiences. The sequel prominently features Singh’s character, while characters inspired by figures like Atiq Ahmed and underworld don Dawood Ibrahim have thrilled viewers.

However, the film is facing mixed reviews. Some critics argue that it portrays the ruling party’s policies in a favorable light. Amidst this, Kher has lauded the film but also targeted those labeling it as propaganda.

After watching the second part, Kher expressed his excitement and spoke with director Aditya Dhar about the film. He stated that every aspect, from casting to dialogue, has been excellently presented on screen.

He wrote, “Dhurandhar 2 is phenomenal! Aditya Dhar is a rockstar! Sometimes words fall short. You leave the theater enveloped in a silence that speaks volumes yet remains elusive. Watching Dhurandhar was just that. It’s not merely a film; it’s an experience.”

Kher also addressed the trolls, mentioning that similar accusations were made against films like ‘The Kashmir Files’ and ‘Baramulla,’ which were also tied to national issues. He challenged critics to create their own films if they believe this one is propaganda. He emphasized that the film effectively dismantles Pakistan’s arguments and deserves recognition.

The actor praised every character in the film, particularly highlighting Ranveer Singh’s emotional scenes, which compelled the audience to feel the pain his character endured.
