
Jaipur, October 4 (Daily Kiran) : Retired Lieutenant Colonel Ramjilal Krishnia marked his 100th birthday at his residence in Jaipur on October 4. The celebration was attended by numerous military officials, veterans, and other dignitaries, all offering their best wishes for his milestone achievement and praising his vibrant and active lifestyle.
In an interview, Krishnia shared the secrets to his longevity and health. He emphasized the importance of moderation in diet and regular exercise. He advised others to avoid outside food and overly spicy meals, noting that a balanced diet and a consistent daily routine are crucial for maintaining health over the years.
Krishnia expressed empathy for those suffering from health issues and encouraged everyone to pursue better health, engage in good deeds, and foster community spirit. He also wished for the well-being and success of all.
A strict vegetarian, Krishnia follows a disciplined daily routine. He rises around 4:30 AM, followed by a bath and exercise. After his workout, he enjoys breakfast and reads newspapers in both Hindi and English, which he considers an essential part of his day.
His helper arrives around 2 PM, and he usually eats lunch by 3 PM. After a brief rest, he resumes his activities at 5 PM with another half-hour of exercise, often taking walks in his garden, which he includes as part of his regular fitness regimen.
Krishnia mentioned that he has little free time, preferring to spend it exercising and reading. He typically goes to bed around 9:30 PM, ready to rise early the next morning to repeat his routine.
He advised others to steer clear of spicy foods and limit sugar and salt intake. He believes that a disciplined lifestyle, balanced diet, and consistent exercise are the keys to a healthy and long life.
