Mumbai, October 13 (Daily Kiran) : Adhyayan Suman is currently in the spotlight for his upcoming film, ‘Main Na Raha Mera.’ This movie explores the complexities of love, heartbreak, and ego within relationships. For Suman, this project holds special significance, and he hopes audiences will emotionally connect with its narrative. However, fans will need to wait a bit longer to see it, as the film’s release date has been postponed.
Initially scheduled for release on October 23, the film will now hit theaters on December 11, 2026. The decision to delay was made by the filmmakers in light of the competitive landscape at the box office, with several films set to debut in October.
Alongside Suman, the film features Divita Rai. The producers felt that releasing the film in December would provide a better opportunity for it to reach audiences, given the crowded October schedule.
Suman expressed his thoughts on the change, stating, “‘Main Na Raha Mera’ is a deeply personal film for me. We want viewers to feel its emotions as we envisioned them. With multiple films releasing on October 23, we believed that December 11 would offer a better chance for our film to capture the audience’s attention.”
Producer Dharmesh Sanghani also weighed in on the decision to change the release date. He emphasized that a producer’s responsibility extends beyond just making a film; it also involves ensuring it has the best opportunity to connect with viewers in theaters. Sanghani noted that the competition on October 23 was likely to be intense, and after careful consideration, the team concluded that December 11 would be a more favorable release date.
He added, “As producers, we must ensure our film has the best chance to resonate with audiences. With so many films scheduled for October 23, we felt that December 11 was a better choice for ‘Main Na Raha Mera.’ The film’s story is rich with deep emotions, and its music plays a crucial role in that narrative.”
The makers have already released a teaser for the film, followed by the title track sung by Arijit Singh. The romantic song ‘Shayad,’ performed by Rekha Bhardwaj, is also a significant part of the film’s music, which is being described as integral to its storytelling.
Directed by Amit Kasaria, ‘Main Na Raha Mera’ is produced by Dharmesh Sanghani under the banner of Sanghani Brothers Motion Pictures in collaboration with T-Series. The film is now set to premiere in theaters on December 11, 2026.
