
Tirupati, August 1: A significant opportunity has emerged for those seeking employment in government institutions. The Sri Venkateswara Institute of Medical Sciences (SVIMS), Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam, has announced the recruitment of 236 staff nurse positions. This includes 24 backlog and 212 regular posts.
The online application process for these vacancies commenced on July 15, with the deadline set for August 10. Eligible candidates wishing to apply can submit their registration forms on the official SVIMS website before or by the final date.
Applicants must possess a B.Sc. Nursing degree from a recognized university or institution, along with registration with the Andhra Pradesh Nursing Council. They should also have completed an intermediate examination or its equivalent, a three-year general nursing course from an accredited institution, and six months of midwifery training. Additionally, candidates should have three years of experience in a medical college or tertiary care hospital and be registered with the Andhra Pradesh Nursing Council. Preference will be given to candidates with BLS and ACLS training certifications and knowledge of computer applications.
The minimum age for applicants is set at 18 years, while the maximum age is 42 years, calculated as of July 1. Candidates from reserved categories will receive age relaxation as per regulations.
Selection of eligible candidates will be based on a computer-based online test (CBT), interviews, experience, and document verification. Selected candidates will receive a monthly salary ranging from ₹38,720 to ₹1,18,390.
During the application process, candidates must pay the prescribed application fee online, which is ₹2,360 for general/EWS candidates and ₹1,770 for BC/SC/ST candidates. Candidates from the PWD category will be exempt from the registration fee.
