Bengaluru, June 1: Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) clinched the IPL 2026 title by defeating Gujarat Titans by five wickets in the final, marking their second consecutive championship win. This historic achievement has prompted congratulations from prominent figures across sports, politics, and various sectors, who praised RCB’s performance.

Legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar took to social media platform X to congratulate RCB on their back-to-back IPL titles. He emphasized that one of the biggest challenges in sports is to consistently prove oneself after achieving success. Tendulkar noted that after the first victory, the question shifts from whether you can win to whether you can maintain that success.
