
Jodhpur, September 4 (Daily Kiran) : Ravi Bishnoi, the talented spinner from India, has carved a niche for himself in the world of cricket with his exceptional skills. Born on September 5, 2000, in Birami village, Jodhpur, Rajasthan, cricket has been his passion from a young age. However, his journey to success was not without challenges.
During his early trials, Bishnoi faced rejection twice. Despite these setbacks, he remained confident in his abilities and persevered, eventually earning a spot on the Indian team. His commitment to cricket led him to make significant sacrifices, including forgoing his board exams when he was selected as a net bowler for the Rajasthan Royals. This decision proved pivotal for his career.
Bishnoi made a significant impact in the 2019-20 U19 World Cup, where his impressive googlies became a mystery for opposing batsmen. He emerged as the tournament’s leading wicket-taker, claiming 17 wickets in six matches and playing a crucial role in securing the championship for India.
In 2020, Bishnoi debuted in the Indian Premier League (IPL) with the Punjab Kings. His consistent performances caught the attention of selectors, leading to his inclusion in the Indian T20 team in 2022.
